Learn how to permanently delete your Downbeat4-4 account

⚠️ This action is permanent. Deleting your account will erase all your data and cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the app:

Open Downbeat4-4 on your device
Tap Settings (gear icon or user menu)
Scroll to Delete Account
Tap the delete button and confirm

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed:

Your account profile and login credentials
All your bands, songs, and setlists
All your shows, practices, and MIDI presets
Chord charts, annotations, and song documents
Spotify integration (if connected)
All data from our servers — this is irreversible

What Isn't Deleted

Your local device data will remain until you manually clear the app cache or reinstall
Any billing records for tax/legal compliance (we retain the minimum required by law)
Backup or log data that has been anonymized

Data Deletion Timeline

Deletion is immediate on our servers. However, cached backups may take up to 30 days to fully purge from our systems.
